Land for sale:
pretty blooms in pink and
yellow and white
wild amongst the farmland.
Rocks from ploughing lie
scattered still
a vast horizon stretches out
with rolling hills and clustered trees;
some branches clawing
at the sky. Perhaps they hope
someday to belong
to the land where they come from.
